Restaurant & Historic Atmosphere
Our gothic parlor in the Ansitz dates back to the 11th century and tells a story: it was once home to the “Lords of Wangen” and their succeeding generations. The last restoration took place at the end of the 18th century, perfectly combining historical authenticity with cozy charm.
Here, you have a choice: enjoy our lovingly prepared culinary delights either in the cozy gothic parlor, in the atmospheric Stadel restaurant, or on the panoramic terrace with a direct view of the breathtaking Dolomites. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique ambiance and charm of the Hotel Kematen Restaurant – a place where culinary pleasure and history go hand in hand.

Culinary Delights & South Tyrolean Hospitality
On the ground floor of the historic Stadel, you will find a cozy, rustic restaurant with a charming café, a wood-paneled parlor, a large panoramic terrace, and the panoramic meadow, where you can also enjoy your meals with a direct view of the Dolomites – the perfect place to experience South Tyrol at its most flavorful.
The cuisine at Hotel Kematen delights with a harmonious combination of South Tyrolean specialties and Italian culinary delights. An extensive wine list featuring over 200 carefully selected wines from South Tyrol, Italy, Europe, and overseas, together with the in-house patisserie, leaves no culinary wish unfulfilled.
Our chef Elisabeth and her team will pamper you with creative recipes that delight the palate. The diverse cuisine of South Tyrol fascinates even gourmets, and your children are sure to discover their new favorite dishes.
